About Mary Germann
Mary Germann, RN, MN, CHE, CHCO, Principal, has over 25 years
of operational, clinical, and consulting experience in the healthcare
industry. She has served as Vice- President of Operations and
Vice President of Clinical Services for a national hospitalist
company, assisting in its development, and has been active in
hospitalist medicine since 1997. Her leadership experiences
include operations, assessments, business plan development and
implementation of physician organizations, geriatric services,
cardiovascular services, rehabilitation services and professional
billing services.
Ms. Germann graduated from Emory University with a Masters
in Nursing Administration, is a Certified Healthcare Executive
by the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Certified
Healthcare Compliance Officer. She is active in various professional
organizations including Society of Hospitalist Medicine, American
Health and Information Management Association, Medical Group
Management Association, Georgia Association of Healthcare
Executives, and is a past president of the Georgia Organization
of Nursing Leaders.
Susan W. Harris, RN, MBA
has over 28 years of experience in educating, managing and
directing peri-operative services. She currently serves as
the System Director of Surgical Services for all three campuses
of Dekalb Medical Center, consisting of 600 beds and 31 operating
rooms.
As a consultant, Ms Harris specializes in throughput improvement
initiatives, innovative staffing concepts, suggestions for
realistic and achievable cost reductions, and improving surgeon/staff/anesthesia
interpersonal working relationships.
John Edward Dornbusch , RN, MBA, CMC, CPUR, CMCN
has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry
with 10 years of leadership and consulting experience in Case
Management, Medical Management and Managed care. His consulting
experience assists health care and managed care organizations
with the assessment, design and implementation of: Utilization
management/utilization review processes, Case Management/Outcomes
Management, Disease Management, Revenue Cycle Enhancement/Cost
Containment, Denials Management, Process Improvement/Quality
Management. Additionally he is an educator providing instruction
for :Case Management: A Certificate Course, Disease Management,
Utilization Management, Advanced Utilization Management, Advanced
Case Management, and Appeals/Denials Management.
Mr. Dornbusch is an Active member of the American Association
of Management Care Nurses and American Institute of Outcomes.
He is a Certified Case Manager, Certified Profession in Utilization
Review (CPUR) Course, Certified Emergency Nurse, and has served
on the American Board of Managed Care Nursing.
